Job description

We have recently built and commissioned our very own manufacturing plant called ‘the blender’, and we’re looking for an Operational Excellence Expert in the field of continuous improvement to help driving the development and implementation of lean-driven Operational Excellence strategies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create impact by helping to build an OE culture and capabilities within the blender, including mindsets and behaviours.  You will also have the opportunity of leading your own improvement projects with significant impact on cost efficiency, setting up our very own OE Academy enabling us to train capabilities of tech enabled OE and supporting to land projects with connection to the digital strategy.

 

The successful candidate will be a strategic and hands-on professional, a change agent with proven ability to coach others on our journey to Operational Excellence, build strategic partnerships, and build and deliver effective training programs. Job requirements

You’ll have:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Operations, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering

  • Black belt qualification in Lean and/or Six Sigma

  • 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement in a food and/or manufacturing environment

  • Proven Project Management capabilities

  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring others, in a people-focused, team-based environment

  • Strong demonstrated experience in change management

  • Result-driven, with the ability to be pragmatic in execution of projects and conceptual thinking

  • Proficient in Dutch and English (verbal and written)

  • Digitally savvy / aptitude for quickly learning new digital systems
