the role
As a Junior Packaging Technologist, you’ll report to the Quality, Safety & Environment Lead and play a key role in optimizing our packaging processes and product quality. You’ll be instrumental in scaling up innovation projects, improving packaging performance, and supporting troubleshooting efforts across our production lines.

you’ll be responsible for:

  • Conducting research and applying technology to optimize packaging quality and packaging process efficiency

  • Understanding the full supply chain and packaging characteristics for juices and blends

  • Supporting innovation project scale-ups, including trials and system updates

  • Maintaining packaging master data for the factory

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in quality, sustainability, and cost

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on packaging enhancements

  • Leading or supporting root cause analyses for recurring technical issues

  • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations

Vereisten

you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Food Science & Technology, or related field

  • Knowledge of food packaging processing and technology

  • 2+ years of experience in packaging technology (preferred)

  • Experience in factory or operational environments (preferred)

  • Familiarity with project management and risk assessments

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

  • Methodical and accurate working style

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams

  • Fluent in Dutch (native level) and English (written and verbal)

  • Calm under pressure and adaptable to change

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
