the role
As a Junior Process Technologist, you’ll report to the Quality, Safey & Environment Lead. You will further expand the knowledge about our products and processes. The factory has started up and we are now ready for the next step. As a Junior Process Technologist you will be a key figure in the efficient and effective running of our production lines.

you’ll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product and process improvement initiatives.

  • Troubleshooting recurring technological issues and leading root cause analyses.

  • Assisting in scaling up innovation projects, including verifying Blender capabilities, supporting trials, and updating systems.

  • Supporting the industrialization of recipes and maintaining Blender recipe accuracy.

  • Identifying and assessing opportunities for process improvements in quality, sustainability, and cost.

  • Conducting research and applying methods to optimize product quality and process efficiency.

  • Studying the characteristics of juices and blends, and how processing impacts taste, texture, and visuals.

  • Understanding the supply chain from field to bottle.

  • Staying current with industry developments through professional literature and seminars.

Vereisten

you’ll need:

  • Native level Dutch, fluent in English both written and verbal.

  • At least Bachelor's degree in Food science & Technology, Process engineering, Chemical engineering or related

  • 1+ years of experience in field of Food Processing & Technology

  • Hands on mentality but able to apply science when needed

  • Able to independently acquire knowledge about the Blender products & processes

preferably also:

  • Experience in process technology in a factory environment

  • Experience with industrial automation

  • Skills in problem solving methodology

  • Basic knowledge of and some experience with Project management

  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset and able to work methodically and accurately

  • A self-starter, able to work independently and also in a team

  • Good communication skills (influencing, motivating)

  • Staying calm when there is a lot on your plate or not what you're used to
