Head of Indirect Procurement Manufacturing

We’re looking for someone great to lead our manufacturing and indirect procurement team here at innocent - Head of Indirect Procurement Manufacturing - looking after the categories and suppliers that us to make our tasty drinks. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our manufacturing network and embed some best practice supplier and contract management as we continue our exciting supply chain evolution. You’ll be a key member of the procurement leadership team and collaborate with key partners across marketing, planning and our manufacturing site (the blender).

As the leader for indirect (mainly the stuff that keeps our factory running), you’ll have a wide variety of stakeholders to work with and loads of opportunities to develop how we work with our suppliers. You’ll have 2 direct reports for indirect procurement, both of whom are based on site at the blender, managing a mixture of process equipment, maintenance, workwear, catering and many more suppliers. As the leader for contract manufacturing (the agreements we have with third parties to put our tasty ingredients into bottles) you’ll help us on our innovation journey and also deliver great service levels to customers. You’ll have 1 direct report in this area, who’ll do more innovation partnership, leaving you to lead the more strategic parts of the relationships with our key manufacturing partners. You’ll also be a key member of the procurement leadership team, working with direct lead, logistics lead and the head of procurement, and at times partnering with Coca-Cola procurement to get the best bang for our buck across the whole manufacturing network.

This role can be based at the blender (Rotterdam) or Fruit Towers (London) for a minimum of 3 days a week. It will involve some international travel so do make sure your passport is up to date.

You will have:

· Leadership experience

· Strong contract manufacturing procurement experience

· Excellent supply chain experience

· A track record of delivering productivity savings and great commercial results

· Understand the value of delivering service levels to our customers

· Top notch stakeholder management skills

· Ability to handle pressure and make decisions in ambiguity
